【Wolf Moon】ウルフムーン

　昨夜は、１月の満月であるウルフムーンは見られましたか？

　この月は、地球から最も遠くにある月のため、いつもより

小さく見えるようです。名前の由来は、オオカミがネイティブ

アメリカンの中で神聖な動物で、神さまの化身と思われている

ということです。

　関連があるかわかりませんが、いつも月を眺める方向でなく、

首を真上に上げないと見えなかったので、オオカミの遠吠えの

ポーズになりました。

　幻想的な光を放っていて、しばらく見惚れていました。

Did you see the Wolf Moon last night, the full moon in January?

This moon seems to be smaller than usual because it is the farthest

moon from the earth. The name comes from the fact that the wolf

is a sacred animal among the Native Americans and is considered

to be an incarnation of God.

　I don’t know if it’s relevant, but I couldn’t see the moon unless I lifted

my head straight up, not always in the direction I was looking at it, so

it was like a howling wolf pose.

The light was fantastic and I was admiring it for a while.
